Hello! Happy New Year!
I am finally taking a moment to publish an overdue post on my beloved
blog!
In this post, I'll be sharing a few of my favorite photos from 2021 (and
2020), Tiff notes (Advice on handling yourself gracefully, even, in
situations of conflict, etc.), as well as my current and consistent
favorites pertaining to beauty, fashion, fitness, lifestyle, etc. Be
advised, this post is lengthy!

A Cosmetics Bag That Doubles As A Clutch
I recently finished reading Armed and Dangerous:
The Ultimate Battle Plan for Targeting and Defeating the Enemy by John Ramirez
This book contains many dynamic prayers and the author shared many
interesting life stories!
I recommend that you add this book to your reading list and/or
library!
How fabulous is my hand sanitizer holder?! I am a lady who likes her
sparkles and bling!
FYI: I've carried hand sanitizer and wipes in my bag since I was a
teenager... Way before C-19!
Bling'd Everyday Things
As already established, I appreciate things covered in bling, even if the
items are commonly used in everyday life.

Bourgie Lip Balms
Haute hydration for luscious lips.
Essential Skincare Tool: Jade Roller(s) & Jade Scraper(s)
Face rolling and scraping with jade is a part of my daily skincare routine.
It is essential! I use these tools once I have cleansed, toned and moisturized my
face. Jade rolling and scraping helps with lymphatic drainage, relieves
tension and stimulates blood flow (for naturally glowing skin) in the face
and neck.
Essential Skincare: Dry Brushing
Benefits Of Dry Brushing:
- Stimulates the lymphatic system (helps the body to flush toxins)
- Exfoliates dead skin cells
- Relieves tension and stress
- Reduces cellulite
- Unclogs pores
- Increases circulation
- Tones and tightens skin (increases blood flow to the outer layers of your skin)
How To Dry Brush Properly:
- Do not wet or moisturize your skin before you dry brush. I actually like to dry brush after I take a shower or a bath. I dry my body with a towel thoroughly before I begin dry brushing my skin. You can choose to do so before or after a shower or a bath, the choice is yours. (Regardless, make sure that your skin is thoroughly dry.)
- Use a brush that is only designated for brushing your skin. You can choose from brushes with or without handles. (I opt for a brush with a long handle.)
- Take your time while brushing. Do not rush.
- Brush each area of the skin several times. (I personally like to brush the sections of my skin 5 to 7 times)
- Brush firmly (but gently) in upward sweeping motions going towards the heart. Tiff Note: When you dry brush your abdomen, do so in a clockwise circular motion.
- When your dry brushing process is completed, apply oil and cream moisturizers. (That's what I do.)
- Tiff Note: Be consistent. Lastly, Rember to always clean your brush and allow it to air dry after every use!
- Attn: If you have skin conditions, circulatory issues, diabetes, etc. please consult your physician before dry brushing
Sentimental Personalized Jewelry
The Piece Of Jewelry I Wear In Remembrance Of My Mother
I had a jeweler create a Custom 14kt solid yellow gold heart bracelet engraved with my 1st name,
'Tiffany', written in my mother's signature from the original birth
announcement that my parents sent to friends and family shortly after I
was born. (Alternate side of heart bracelet) A baby bee. The bee is also
referred to as a 'honey-go' [A name I gave bees and a nickname my mother
called my sister and me when we were children.]. This bee was also
featured on the wallpaper my older sister and I had during our early
childhood years in our childhood home.
I wear this bracelet every day in remembrance of her.
Mommy & I during my 2004 birthday dinner.
Best Mom. Forever loved and missed, dearly.
(above) One of my original birth announcements.

I also had a photo charm of my mother and I created to attach to my charm
bracelet.
My mother helped me establish my high self-esteem/self-worth and sense
of style by the time I turned five. Due to the Godly lady that she was, I had
the confidence to embrace my uniqueness, individuality and faith in
Christ.
Along with calling me beautiful and intelligent, she also called me "doll",
"darling" and "trendsetter". My mother led by example. I am so grateful to
have been blessed with a mother like her. I miss her dearly.
My mom wore Ray-Ban wayfarers before popular culture made them "cool".
Bling The Face Shield
I used this a few times in 2020. It's in my closet somewhere.

Tiff Notes & Social Graces
> In no particular order <
- Nurture Your Intellect. Nurturing your intellect is important and it goes beyond earning a degree.
- Don't aim to be lethargic, unlearned, stagnant and/or arrested in your development. Strive. Learn. Read. Grow.
- Don't blindly follow the tribalism groupthink narrative. In the age of information, do your own extensive research and draw your own intelligent conclusion(s).
- Read More Books. Expand your vocabulary. Aim to read books that are thought-provoking. If possible, join and/or start a book club with family, friends and/or associates.
- A lady is well-spoken. Speak with grace and elegance. Speak clearly and confidently.
- You are enough but you do have room to improve!
- What you feast on is what you will reflect.
- Do not allow yourself to be programmed and/or bewitched by people, television, movies, social media, music, programming, subliminal messaging, and/or agendas.
- 'Thank You' notes are classic & thoughtful... I am the type of lady who appreciates 'thank you' notes (I get it from my mother). My mother collected beautiful stationery to write handwritten notes on. Writing a 'thank you' note is a lost art. Aim to be the one in your friend group/family circle who is known to send and give thank you notes.
- The Art Of Saying "Please", "Thank You" And "Excuse Me": You would be surprised at how many people don't use such simple yet courteous phrases in daily life. I know, utterly disgusting! Don't allow yourself to be that type of person. If this describes your current inconsiderate behavior, please change this. (Aim to always better yourself, for yourself. Others will also benefit.). You don't have to be a scholar in etiquette but at the minimum, someone during your childhood should have taught you the importance of saying "Please.", "Thank you." and "Excuse me."
- Chipped nail polish is a faux pas. If you have chipped polish, just simply remove it from your nails. If maintaining a manicure is too high maintenance for you, don't put color on your nails. Shape them neatly and paint them clear.
- Aim to Look Fabulous Every Time You Leave The House (Unless it is an emergency!). Home, where pretty girls can look 'ugly' in peace but amongst the public square, looking unkempt is an absolute NOT! There is no excuse for being an unkempt woman (unless you have a medical issue and/or have severe physical restrictions), how you choose to represent yourself in this world shows others the confidence (or lack thereof) that you have within. When you look fabulous, you feel fabulous. I can not reiterate that enough! So start caring about yourself in every aspect, including your physical presentation.
- Dress how you want to be addressed. Everyone should be treated with dignity regardless of how good they look but most people are visual and will treat you accordingly. Present yourself well.
- Elegance isn't just a look. It is a state of mind and a way of being.
- Personal development is very important. You can look like a million bucks on the outside but be wretched on the inside. (A complete faux pas! I don't want that for you and you shouldn't want that for yourself.)
- Cultivate a radiant smile.
- Stay positive but don't be delusional. See things for what they are.
How A Lady Handles Conflict
- Think before you act.
- Having discernment and a sound mind will prompt you when and when not to react.
- Everyone isn't entitled to your attention or reaction.
- If necessary, remove yourself from being in the presence of toxic people or engaging in detrimental situations.
- Don't deal with or surround yourself with people that have nothing to lose. The majority of people with nothing to lose are some of the most callous and dangerous inhabitants of our society. Oftentimes, they make overly emotional and rash decisions. Their behavior can be worse than the behavior of a ravenous wild animal.
- Don't allow others to drag you down and disturb your peace but if conflict ensues, don't be controlled by your emotions. Be levelheaded. Think and react intelligently.
- If the conflict can not be avoided, preferably you are surrounded by trustworthy men who can/will protect and defend you, if not, know when and how to defend yourself properly (e.g. call the proper authorities, self-defense tools, etc.)
I hope this content finds you well. xo.
